Before you print
Which family files work?
GEDCOM 5.5, 5.5.1 and 5.5.5, up to 5 MB and 5,000 people. Export a GEDCOM file from your genealogy app. This is an ancestor chart, not an all-relatives or descendant chart. Photos, notes and sources are not imported.
What happens with adoption or repeated ancestors?
Parent links follow your file. Multiple parent families require an explicit choice. The same ancestor can appear in multiple positions; this is not an extra person. Review against your records: the chart does not certify biological relationships.
Are names and family dates uploaded?
No. Processing and PDF generation happen in your browser. A saved project includes private names and dates, even when the poster hides them. Keep project files private. Optional analytics never include this content.
Does it cost anything today?
The preview edition is free. No checkout or subscription is active. A future $19-per-project print edition is being evaluated; it is not currently for sale.
What if my PDF font cannot render a name?
Direct export uses Noto Sans and stops rather than replacing unsupported characters. Browser print can use your installed fonts. Review every name in the print preview.
